EDITORIAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS & PRIVACY POLICY

Terms and Conditions of Use

These Business Terms and Conditions apply to any agreements made via the website of https://stedjournal.com/ and all subdomains (hereinafter referred to as “Website”) or through related email communication, as well as to all services provided by University PIM, based in despota Stefana Lazarevića bb, Banja Luka, Bosnia and Herzegovina (hereinafter referred to as “University PIM”). Throughout these Terms and Conditions, we will refer to you as "You/Your" or "Author." Any business terms by the author which diverge from these Terms and Conditions shall not apply, unless expressly confirmed by University PIM in written form. The Terms of Use of the Website (https://stedjournal.com/page/editorial-terms-and-conditions-privacy-policy) constitute an integral part of the present Terms and Conditions.  

By submitting the paper, the authors agree to support open access publishing, and grant University PIM the right to publish their paper online with unlimited access. The authors have the following cancellation rights: The authors can withdraw their manuscripts at any time during the peer-review process. Once the Article is accepted for publication, it may no longer be withdrawn by the authors.  

When offering services to the author, University PIM may turn down or reject the Article anytime without specifying any reason and thus cancel the conclusion of the contract. After the cancellation, both parties are freed from any previous commitments of these Editoral Conditions and Policy.

The manuscript is accepted for processing on the understanding that it has not been published elsewhere (or submitted to another journal or conference). For papers with multiple authors, you also have to confirm that all authors are familiar with and agree with, the contents of the manuscript. We reserve the right to contact all authors to confirm this in case of doubt. 

Limitation of Liability

In no event University PIM, it's respective licensees, emplozees, agents, suppliers, or contractors be held liable for any damages of any nature arising from or in connection with the use of the website, it's content, or any hyperlinked website. This includes, but it is not limited to consequential losses, damages for lost income or profit, property damage, reputational harm, use, loss of data, and other intangible losses, as well as claims, or expenses of any kind. This limitation of liability applies regardless of whether the use of the website is in accordance with it's intended purpose or wether University PIM was aware of the potential of such harm.

University PIM has long-term contracts with indexing databases. However, these contracts do not guarantee that papers will be indexed if an indexing database changes it's policy towards the publisher. In such a case, University PIM cannot be held liable for any legal or financial compensation for authors, co-authors, or institution.

In particular, University PIM is not liable if published articles infringe on third-party rights. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions shall limit or exclude, or be interpreted as intending to limit or exclude, liability for gross negligence (as defined under law of Republic of Srpska and Bosnia and Herzegovina) or for deliberate wrongdoing, or for any other matter for which, under any applicable law, liability cannot be limited or excluded. University PIM shall not be held liable for any failure or delay in fulfilling its obligations under these Terms and Conditions due to events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to, acts of war, natural disasters, pandemics, or other unforeseen circumstances constituting force majeure as defined by applicable law. Banja Luka, Republic of Srpska, Bosnia and Herzegovina, shall be the place of jurisdiction for all legal disputes arising from these Terms and Conditions, even if the Author has her/his/their domicile outside of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Law of Repubic of Srpska and Bosnia and Herzegovina, applicable at the place of jurisdiction of University PIM shall apply exclusively, excluding the conflict of law’s provisions, the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods of 11 April 1980 ("Vienna Sales Convention"), and any other international conventions. If any provisions of the Terms and Conditions should be found invalid, this shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions. In any such case, the contracting parties shall negotiate on the invalid clause to substitute by a valid arrangement as close as possible to the original provision.

University PIM reserves the right to change these Terms and Conditions at any time by posting changes to this page of the website without prior notice. Please check these Terms and Conditions periodically for any modifications. Your continued use of any Service following the posting of any changes will mean that you have accepted and agreed to the changes.

University PIM is an open access publisher and provides platforms for open scientific exchange.

Using our Websites

Our Websites can be used for personal and lawful purposes only. You may download and print content from the Websites for your own personal, non-commercial use, provided that all copyright notices and trademarks are retained. The use of our Websites for any commercial purposes is not allowed. We do not use any cookies except analytics

This data is used purely for internal research and helps us ensure our service is meeting the needs of all users.
