ABOUT JOURNAL

The Journal of Social and Technological development - STED Journal is the official publication (two times per year) of the University PIM Banja Luka. The STED Journal will publish papers of the scientific and professional character, in the official languages of Bosnia and Herzegovina (The Abstract and Keywords must be written in English) and in English, from various scientific fields: economics, management, law, information technology and computing, industrial engineering, energy efficiency, environmental protection, green energy, materials, chemical engineering and technology, graphic technology, psychology, medical and biomedical sciences.

Open Access Journal 
This is an open access journal which means that all content is freely available without charge to the user or his/her institution. Users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles in this journal without asking prior permission from the publisher or the author. 

This journal is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 International License.

The STED Journal is published both in print and electronic format.Free-full text articles will be available immediately on publication. The STED Journal is Double blind peer reviewed journal. Digital versions of the papers are stored in the National and University Library of the Republic of Srpska.

Each article receives a DOI (Digital Object Identifier) which is unique for every article published in the journal and is used for easier referencing and archiving; UDC (Universal Decimal Classification) which is bibliographic and library classification representing the systematic arrangement of all branches of human knowledge organized as a coherent system in which knowledge fields are related and inter-linked and COBISS (Co-operative Online Bibliographic System & Services).

Editorial Responsibilities

The editor is responsible for deciding which articles submitted to STED Journal will be published. The editor is guided by the policies of the journal's Editorial Board and constrained by legal requirements in force regarding libel, copyright infringement and plagiarism.

Editors must hold no conflict of interest with regard to the articles they consider for publication. If an Editor feels that there is likely to be a perception of a conflict of interest in relation to their handling of a submission, the selection of reviewers and all decisions on the paper shall be made by the Editorial Board. Editors have a responsibility to protect the anonymity of reviewers as per the highest academic standards

Editors shall evaluate manuscripts for their intellectual content free from any racial, gender, sexual, religious, ethnic, or political bias.

 

Unpublished materials disclosed in a submitted manuscript must not be used in an editors own research without the express written consent of the author.

The views expressed in this Section are the sole responsibility of the authors and do not necessarily reflect the views of the Editorial team.

Authors responsibilities

Authors warrant that their manuscript is their original work that it has not been published before and is not under consideration for publication elsewhere. The Authors also warrant that the manuscript is not and will not be published elsewhere (after the publication in STED Journal) in any language without the consent of STED Journal.

Authors warrant that the rights of third parties will not be violated, and that the publisher will not be held legally responsible should there be any claims for compensation.

Authors are exclusively responsible for the contents of their submissions, the validity of the experimental results and must make sure that they have permission from all involved parties to make the data public.

Authors wishing to include figures or text passages that have already been published elsewhere are required to obtain permission from the copyright holder(s) and to include evidence that such permission has been granted when submitting their papers. Any material received without such evidence will be assumed to originate from the authors.

Authors must make sure that all only contributors who have significantly contributed to the submission are listed as authors and, conversely, that all contributors who have significantly contributed to the submission are listed as authors.

It is the responsibility of each author to ensure that papers submitted to STED Journal are written with ethical standards in mind and that they not contain plagiarism. Authors affirm that the article contains no unfounded or unlawful statements and does not violate the rights of others.

When an author discovers a significant error or inaccuracy in his/her own published work, it is the authors obligation to promptly notify the journal Editor or publisher and cooperate with the Editor to retract or correct the paper.

 

Publication Fee:

The journal charges up to: 100 EUR as publication fees (article processing charges or APCs).
